About Our Team
Understanding the needs of you and your pet is very important to us. We would like to get to know you and welcome you into our veterinary family!

Heather Johnson, DVM
Dr. Heather Johnson earned her veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota and spent four years practicing in New Richmond, WI. Since childhood, she has aspired to be a veterinarian, and her extensive experience in animal rescue and shelter medicine enables her to provide comprehensive, high-quality care. Dr. Johnson is particularly passionate about ensuring the best possible treatment for all animals, with special interests in soft tissue surgery and behavioral medicine. She resides in Trenton, IL, with her three daughters, Gracie, Bella, and Lainey, their two dogs and two cats. She enjoys family time, horseback riding, and snow skiing.

Allana Williams, Practice Administrator/Reception
Allana was raised on a farm in Mascoutah, Illinois, but now calls Belleville home, where she lives with her husband Jamie and their two children, Maddi and Ty. Her lifelong passion for animals shines through in her work; she has been in the veterinary field since she was 17 and became part of Dr. Johnson’s team in 2013. Allana’s home resembles a mini-zoo, filled with big and small dogs, cats, fish, a snake, and even a tortoise. Recently, she has returned to her farming roots by raising laying hens, reminiscent of her childhood. Outside of work, Allana enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, engaging in activities like volleyball, swimming, camping, fishing, and kayaking, embracing any adventure that allows her to connect with nature.

Alyssa Kreamalmeyer, Technician
Alyssa became part of our team in 2025 after completing her Veterinary Technician program at the Midwest Institute in 2017. With a passion for animals, she has dedicated her career to caring for dogs, cats, and exotic species. Originally from O'Fallon, Illinois, she now lives in Troy with her three wonderful children. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys hiking, being outdoors, cheering on her kids at their sports events, and indulging in the latest true crime documentaries.
