About Our Team
Understanding the needs of you and your pet is very important to us. We would like to get to know you and welcome you into our veterinary family!
Heather Johnson, DVM
Dr. Heather Johnson received her veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota. After graduating, she practiced in New Richmond, WI for 4 years. Practicing veterinary medicine has been her dream since childhood. She has extensive experience in animal rescue and shelter medicine which allows her to take a well-rounded approach to offering high-quality medicine. She is very passionate about providing the best care possible for all animals. Special interests include soft tissue surgery and behavior medicine.
Dr. Johnson lives with her 3 daughters; Gracie, Bella and Lainey in Trenton, IL. Her hobbies include spending time with family, horse back riding/training and snow skiing.
Allana Williams, Reception
Allana Williams grew up on a farm in Mascoutah IL and now resides in Belleville with her husband Jamie, and their two children; Maddi and Ty. Allana is very passionate about life and all living creatures, she loves nothing more than to be surrounded by them not only at work, but at home as well! She has worked within the veterinary field since she was 17, and became a part of Dr. Johnson's team in 2013.
Allana's home is filled with a variety of pets, from big dogs to small dogs, cats, fish, a snake and a tortoise. She hopes to get back to some of her childhood roots and start raising some laying hens. She loves spending her free time outdoors with her family, doing everything from sports, especially volleyball, swimming, camping, fishing, road trips and kayaking.
Ashley Connors, Technician
Ashley became our fourth team member, in 2018! She was born in Mexico City, and moved with her family to the United States, when she was only two years old. She resides with her husband Aaron, in Godfrey IL. She completed an AVMA 18-month accredited Vet Tech program at Hickey College, 2017-2018. Ashley is very passionate about animals, of all sizes. She has three cats, two bunnies, a leopard gecko, Drogon her rottweiler, Daenerys her Pomeranian and even a hedgehog named Brambles! She hopes to one day work with exotics full-time, but absolutely loves working with and helping, cats and dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys her family and friends, drawing, snacking and watching movies.
